Leaders of the Egyptian delegation participate and congratulate Pope Tawadros II on Christmas

Abdel-Sanad Yamama, head of the Egyptian Wafd Party, visited Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, on the occasion of Christmas at the headquarters of St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya.
Among the visitors to congratulate the party leaders were Major General Ahmed Al-Shahed, Chairman of the Defense and National Security Committee, Engineer Sabri Al-Shahed, Assistant to the Party Chairman, and Dr. Ragheb Mustafa, Chairman of the Egyptians Abroad Affairs Committee.
Yesterday evening, Pope Tawadros celebrated Christmas and presided over the Christmas Mass in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the New Administrative Capital. Pope Tawadros received President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, who came to congratulate the masses of Coptic Patriarchs on Christmas amidst the welcome and joy of the attendees.
زار عبد السند يمامة رئيس حزب الوفد المصري ، البابا تواضروس الثاني بابا الإسكندرية ، بمناسبة عيد الميلاد المجيد في مقر الكاتدرائية المرقسية بالعباسية.
وكان من الزائرين لتقديم التهنئة قيادات الحزب اللواء ، أحمد الشاهد رئيس لجنة الدفاع والأمن القومي، والمنهدس صبري الشاهد مساعد رئيس الحزب، والدكتور راغب مصطفى، رئيس لجنة شئون المصريين بالخارج .
وإحتفل البابا تواضروس مساء أمس بعيد الميلاد المجيد وترأس قداس عيد الميلاد المجيد بكاتدرائية ميلاد المسيح بالعاصمة الإدارية الجديدة ، واستقبل البابا تواضروس الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية والذي حضر لتهنئة جموع الأقباط البطريرك بعيد الميلاد وسط ترحيب وفرحة الحضور.
