مصر تؤكد تضامنها الكامل مع دول الخليج والأردن والعراق في بيان أمام الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة
ألقى السيد السفير ايهاب عوض، المندوب الدائم لمصر لدى الأمم المتحدة، بيان مصر خلال نقاش الجمعية العامة للأمم المُتحدة إتصالاً بمُمارسة حق النقض خلال الاجتماع الـ10130 لمجلس الأمن يوم 7 أبريل 2026 حول تطورات الأوضاع في الشرق الأوسط.
أكد المندوب الدائم علي تضامن مصر الكامل مع الدول العربية الشقيقة بالخليج والأردن والعراق، ودعمها الكامل لسيادتها وسلامة ووحدة أراضيها، مع ادانة الإعتداءات غير المقبولة وغير المُبررة مع هذه الأقطار العربية الشقيقة، ووقوفها إلى جانبها في مواجهة أي تهديدات تمس أمنها واستقرارها.
شدد علي موقف مصر الداعي لضرورة الالتزام الكامل بميثاق الأمم المُتحدة وبقواعد القانون الدولي، واستمرار مصر في جهودها الممتدة منذ اكتر من عام لبناء الثقة وتوفير المُناخ المُناسب بغرض الإسهام في جهود وقف التصعيد، وُصولاً إلى وقف إطلاق النار والانتهاء إلى تسوية شاملة ومستدامة، مع الترحيب بالخُطوات الأولية التي اتخذها سكرتير عام الأمم المُتحدة في التعامل مع هذا الصراع، وبإعلان الرئيس الأمريكي يوم 8 أبريل الجاري المُوافقة على تعليق العمليات العسكرية في المنطقة لمدة أسبوعين، وما تمثله هذه الخُطوة من تطور إيجابي يتعين البناء عليه نحو تحقيق التهدئة المنشودة واحتواء التصعيد، ووقف العمليات العسكرية واحترام حرية الملاحة الدولية.
During the discussion in the UNGA concerning the exercise of the veto, in connection with the 1030th meeting of the Security Council on 7 April 2026 regarding developments in the situation in the Middle East.
Ambassador Ihab Awad, The PR of Egypt to the UN, affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with the brotherly Arab states in the Gulf, Jordan, and Iraq, and its complete support for their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity.
He condemned the unacceptable and unjustified aggressions against these brotherly Arab countries and expressed Egypt’s firm stand by their side in confronting any threats to their security and stability.
He emphasized Egypt’s position, which calls for full commitment to the Charter of the United Nations and the rules of international law.
He also highlighted Egypt’s ongoing efforts, extending for more than a year, to build confidence and create the appropriate climate aimed at contributing to de-escalation efforts, leading to a ceasefire and ultimately to a comprehensive and sustainable settlement.
He welcomed the initial steps taken by the Secretary-General of the United Nations in addressing this conflict, as well as the announcement by the U.S. President on 8 April of the current month approving the suspension of military operations in the region for a period of two weeks. He described this step as a positive development that must be built upon to achieve the desired calm, contain the escalation, halt military operations, and respect international freedom of navigation.
